The DS203 is a serial device server that can be used to quickly network-enable virtually any serial device or system. Compared to the original DS100 converter, the DS203 is smaller, faster, and has a larger memory.

The DS203 is offered with Tibbo Device Server Toolkit software, which includes Virtual Serial Port Driver for Windows and Linux.

This product can also be supplied (loaded) with TiOS firmware and work as a simple BASIC-programmable controller.

TiOS
Tibbo have created our own OS that is lightweight and streamlined. Tibbo OS (TiOS) runs fast enough on a mid-range microprocessor and in a tiny memory space. Board size is minimized, cost goes down, reliability goes up, and you still get an excellent automation platform that is comfortable to program for.

Tibbo Device Server Toolkit includes:

Connection Wizard
Connection Wizard guides you step-by-step through creating data links between a computer and a device server, or between two
device servers.

DS Manager
DS Manager is used to locate, setup, manage, monitor, and upgrade Tibbo device servers and compatible devices.

Virtual Serial Port Driver (VSPD) and VSP Manager
Virtual Serial Port Driver (VSPD) turns serial ports of Tibbo device servers into remote COM ports of your PC. VSP Manager is
used to create and manage Virtual Serial Ports (VSPs).

Tibbo Monitor
Tibbo Monitor logs the activity of Virtual Serial Ports and remains an indispensable tool in troubleshooting communications
problems in systems involving Virtual Serial Ports.
