EM203 + RJ203 Modules
The EM203 is a miniature serial-to-Ethernet module. In combination with
the RJ203 jack/magnetics, the EM203 occupies only 31x19mm of board space.
Alternatively, the EM203 can be used with any suitable magnetics and jack.
TiOSThe EM203 is offered with Tibbo Device Server Toolkit software, which includes Virtual Serial Port Driver for Windows and Linux. The EM203 can also be supplied (loaded) with TiOS firmware and work as a simple BASIC-programmable controller. The module can be ordered standalone or in combination with the RJ203. Tibbo have created our own OS that is lightweight and streamlined. Tibbo OS (TiOS) runs fast enough on a mid-range microprocessor and in a tiny memory space. Board size is minimized, cost goes down, reliability goes up, and you still get an excellent automation platform that is comfortable to program for. Tibbo Device Server Toolkit includes: Connection Wizard The RJ203 is an "Ethernet front-end" module that contains an RJ45 jack and 10/100BaseT magnetics (designed to work with the Davicom DM9000B Ethernet controller). The RJ203's patent-pending design lets you put other components right under it, and thus minimize host PCB size. The front face of the device is translucent. Place status LEDs directly on the host PCB under the RJ203, and you will still see them on the outside. You can also use the RJ203 together with the EM203 or EM1206 Ethernet modules, which fit right under it. You can order the RJ203 standalone, or in combination with one of these modules.
