iMod - REMOTE SUPERVISION FOR WASTEWATER PUMPING STATIONS PC2000W

About DripDropPC2000W
DripDrop is a young company with more than 25 years of experience in the waste-water business. We have developed what we consider the best in class pump controllers, and we continue to work on new designs to fulfill the strict requirements of this industry. Their most precious asset is the deep knowledge in waste-water applications, one of the toughest applications for electronic devices, because of the environmental conditions and the 24/7 availability.
Their central offices in Sweden and Spain serve the distributor network with equipment and service for the day to day operations.

OfferConnection with PC2000W by iMod GPRS
Their proposal is based in a decentralized, open and universal architecture:

  • Decentralized - the information and communication don´t go by an unique point, but all the devices can talkbetween themselves
  • Open - their system has no limit for devices, tags, users, etc.
  • Universal - The technology used to access the data are GSM/GPRS networks and ethernet; using Modbus TCP/IP protocols and web pages.

Connection

  • Their RTU PC2000W connects to the iMod by a RS232 port, using modbus RTU protocol
  • iMod stores data from the PC2000W in th internal modbus database
  • Through modbus TCP/IP any application (drivers, scadas) can access the modbus database
  • The alarms inside the PC2000W also trigger SMS from the iMod

DripDrop - webserver

  • Thanks to the apache webserver included inside iMod we have developed a complete hmi application that includes synoptic, pump data, station data, alarms and logger files
  • Any user with a web browser can access the station and depending on the user rights (login) will be able to read/write data from any or all the screens; similar to any SCADA
  • Moreover, all the logged data that is saved by iMod can be downloaded in a csv format to be later used or simply stored for backup

GoogleMaps as user interface
The end user access each station through a link in Google Maps, so there is no need to program any interface, and anyone can update the network

Google Docs to store the maintenance information
In the same gmail account we can store all the documents regarding the stations: electrical schematics, operator manuals, service manuals
