The PROFI-5050 is specially designed for the slave device of PROFIBUS DP protocol. It supports up to 16-channel non-isolated digital input and 8-channel non-isolated digital output. Users can easily to choose and configure it by using the GSD file in any PROFIBUS Configurator.
PROFIBUS is an opened, digital communication system with a wide range of applications, particularly in the fields of factory and process automation. PROFIBUS is suitable for both fast, time-critical applications and complex communication tasks. The PROFI-5050 is one of the PROFIBUS DP series products produced by ICP DAS. It provides the PROFIBUS DP communication protocol with any DP-Masters. The PROFI-5050 provides ±4KV ESD protection for all terminals (include I/O Terminals and PROFIBUS connector). By applying the PROFI-5050, users can easily establish a PROFIBUS DP network with other DP-Masters. It is ideal for building automation, remote data acquisition, environment control and monitoring, laboratory equipment & research, factory automation, etc.
