SE5001-S2 to serwer portów szeregowych pełniący funkcję bramy sieciowej pomiędzy standardem Ethernet (TCP/IP) a portem szeregowym RS-232. Urządzenie pozwala na podłączanie prawie każdego urządzenia do nowej lub już istniejącej sieci Ethernetowej.
