SE5001-S5 to serwer portów szeregowych pełniący funkcję bramy sieciowej pomiędzy standardem Ethernet (TCP/IP) a portem szeregowym RS485 lub RS422. Urządzenie pozwala na podłączanie prawie każdego urządzenia do nowej lub już istniejącej sieci Ethernetowej.
