SE5416-N2 to serwer portów szeregowych pełniący funkcję bramy sieciowej pomiędzy standardem Ethernet (TCP/IP) a szesnastoma portami szeregowymi RS-232 lub RS-422 lub RS-485. Urządzenie posiada dwa porty Ethernet’owe w standardzie 10/100Mbps Fast i pozwala na podłączanie prawie każdego urządzenia do nowej lub już istniejącej sieci Ethernetowej.
