SUNIX SLAN Professional D series provides 10/100Base Ethernet to asynchronous RS-422 or RS-485 serial port for serial device communication. It supports up to 31 RS-485 (2-wire or 4 wire) devices or up to 9 RS-422 (4-wire) devices can be connected via Ethernet with just one of serial ports. User can use SLAN Utility, Web, Telnet, and serial console to configure each serial port for either RS-422 or RS-485.
